Robbie Robertson, chief of The Band, dies at 80

Certainly one of rock’s best songwriters and musicians, Robbie Robertson, has died on the age of 80.

Because the guitarist and lead author for The Band, Robertson sourced American music and historical past to put in writing classics like “The Weight” and “The Evening They Drove Outdated Dixie Down.”
