Ponsonby Jr. Sting group participates in Ontario Beginner Softball Match

PONSONBY – The Ponsonby Jr. Sting group travelled to Tara to take part within the Ontario Beginner Softball Affiliation Provincial U13 Match the weekend of Aug. 11 to 13. Ponsonby gained its first sport versus the Elma Avengers 13-4. The group then misplaced 7-6 to the Napanee Categorical, gained sport three 19-3 and misplaced the quarterfinal sport of the ‘B’ Division versus Elma (a rematch of sport one). Staff officers say Ponsonby ended the weekend with a document of 2-2 and performed nicely towards a number of the finest groups within the province.
