Museum internet hosting Insights juried exhibition of superb arts

ABOYNE, ON – The Insights Juried Exhibition of Fantastic Arts returns to the Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA) from March 30 to June 11. 

Organized and sponsored by the Insights committee of the Elora Fergus Arts Council, Insights is among the longest operating juried artwork exhibitions in Ontario. 

 “Insights encourages and honours excellence, excessive ranges of accomplishment, and progressive approaches to creative expression within the work of native artists,” mentioned committee chair Natalie Burek.  

 “We’re very excited to welcome Insights again for its forty second 12 months,” mentioned WCMA curator Hailey Johnston. 

“It’s a privilege to host so many gifted artists from Wellington County and our neighbouring communities on this annual present.” 

Submissions might be accepted from artists residing within the counties of Wellington, Dufferin, Gray, Huron, and Perth, and the Metropolis of Guelph. 

Artist submissions might be delivered to the museum on March 17 between 9:30am and 4pm and March 18 between 1:30 and 4 pm within the Nicholas Keith room, accessed through the courtyard or rear entrances.

The exhibit’s opening reception occurs on March 30, from 7 to 9pm; the awards presentation begins at 8pm. 

All are welcome to take pleasure in music, refreshments, a money bar, and solid a vote for the Individuals’s Alternative Award. Admission to the opening reception is by donation. 

The Insights committee has additionally organized a Stroll with the Jurors occasion on April 2 from 1:30 to three:00pm.
