Headwaters Arts presents Wild and Free

ALTON – Spring has sprung and Headwaters Arts is able to have fun with its third members’ present.
Wild and Free is a “vibrant, vibrant and explosive assortment of expressions of natural world as interpreted by 35 artists from throughout Headwaters area,” reads the press launch.
“Artists are so impressed by the wild and the re-birth and fantastic thing about spring’s natural world, this present guarantees to get all of us excited for the approaching of spring.”
The 47 chosen items on exhibit embrace works in quite a lot of mediums: oil, watercolour and acrylic work, pastels, textiles, encaustic/combined media, prints, photogram, effective artwork images, combined media mosaic, clay, metallic and acrylic/paper.
You’ll be able to meet the artists on the official opening reception on March 25, from 1 to 3pm on the Headwaters Arts Gallery within the Alton Mill Arts Centre.
Wild and Free runs from March 22 to April 23.
The Headwaters Arts Gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
