Drayton Leisure unveils playbill for 2024

CAMBRIDGE – Drayton Leisure has introduced its 2024 season that includes 16 productions.
Musicals, homicide mysteries, and comedies will take centre stage from March 27 to Dec. 29 on the charitable theatre group’s 4 venues in Waterloo Area and Wellington County.
Opening the season on the Drayton Pageant Theatre is Beehive: The ‘60s Musical, a musical celebration of probably the most highly effective and iconic feminine voices of the Sixties. Advised from the angle of six girls who come of age on this enigmatic decade, Beehive takes audiences on a nostalgic journey by means of timeless hits of the period akin to My Boyfriend’s Again, Son of a Preacher Man, Pure Lady, and extra. The present is runs June 5 to 23.
Up subsequent is the comedy Midway There by Norm Foster, telling the story of a small Maritime city tipped off its axis when a heartbroken physician from Toronto takes a short lived job on the clinic and turns into involved in a neighborhood waitress. – White Christmas, Dec. 4 to Dec. 29.
