Bandmates pay tribute to late Stompin’ Tom Connors
ERIN — Stompin’ Tom Connors’ bandmates Billy MacInnis and Duncan Fremlin carried out three sold-out tribute live shows at Theatre Orangeville not too long ago.
They stopped by the Erin cemetery on Sept. 16 to pay their respects to Connors by enjoying just a few of his favorite basic tunes, accompanied on the guitar by musician and Erin radio host Bryce Butcher.
Tom’s widow Lena Connors, maintains and decorates Connors’ grave for normal visits from loyal followers.
